The Sunbreeze Festival is officially underway!
As citizens around Vana'diel are melting in this summer heat, officials from each nation have teamed up with the Mog House Management Union to boost adventurer's spirits.
Many shops and guilds in each city have worked together to decorate the streets, and the Rakapopo dancers are out in full force to dance in some refreshing weather. Get your scoops ready to catch some goldfish for some cool rewards as well!
You'll also be able to find some thrilling activities never seen on Vana'diel before! Get your friends together and enjoy a night out in Vana'diel at this year's Sunbreeze Festival.
Event Timeline
This event is scheduled to commence on August 4th, 2023 and will last until August 31, 2023.
Event Locations
The festival will take place in the following areas, with festive music and fireworks to liven up the evening from 18:00 to 6:00 (Vana'diel Time).
- West Ronfaure / East Ronfaure / Northern San d'Oria / Southern San d'Oria
- North Gustaberg / South Gustaberg / Bastok Mines / Bastok Markets
- East Sarutabaruta / West Sarutabaruta / Windurst Waters / Windurst Walls / Windurst Woods
- Western Altepa Desert / Eastern Altepa Desert / Rabao
A custom event will take place this year on Purgonorgo-Isle in Bibiki Bay. The festival will contain:
- "Whack-a-mandie", where players must help moogles fend off an invasive species of mandragora from the island
- Special races in which players can bet on contestants and win rewards
- A snow-cone vendor to help stay cool on the beach
- Other fun rewards

Goldfishing rewards and supplies can be obtained from NPCs in the following locations:
- West Ronfaure: Saradorial (G-10)
- South Gustaberg: Fish Eyes (E-8)
- East Sarutabaruta: Kesha Shopehllok (H-8)
- Rabao: Mei (F-7)
Patch notes
- The Sunbreeze Festival is now underway! See more information about the festival in the main announcements channel.
- Clamming item weights have been rebalanced.
- The Clamming results when equipping certain swimsuits has been enhanced.
- An issue where Toh Zonikki was not properly rewarding items obtained during clamming has been corrected.
- Mobs related to the Sunbreeze Festival will no longer despawn when roaming too far from their spawn points.
- Butterfly Cage, Glowfly Cage, and Cricket Cage recipes have been adjusted. Dogwood Lumber has been replaced with Oak Lumber for the ingredient list.
