Horizon XI: Patch Notes - 4/21/2023

Jobs

  • BST: Fixed mob pets left with leave having odd hate behaviors. (Tiberon)
  • SMN: Blood Pacts will now use the proper damage spell resistance checks. These were accidentally using enfeebling calculations which was causing damage values of 0. (Frank)

Spells

  • Fixed the calculation for dStat (Difference in stats) between Monster vs Player interaction. (Frank)
  • Elemental Damage Reduction, weather bonuses, MAB (Magic Attack / Magic Defense), and barspells for Monster vs. Player interaction will now be calculated at the end of the resistance check instead of before.
  • Cure spells will now go through the proper resistance checks when curing an undead monster. (Frank)
  • Corrected the "dice roll" and final resist checks to properly handle enfeeble and damage spell resist calcs. This will result in it being harder to land enfeebles than before. (Frank, Jimmayus)

Items

  • Converted damage to mp %, such as Ethereal Earring, will now work on magic damage taken and mob TP moves. (WinterSolstice8)

Quests, Missions, & Battilefields

  • Fixed several drop tables within Limbus to drop the correct items. (Frank)
  • Adjusted the difficulty of the Ouyru Cometh fight and tuned damage of Ouryu’s mob TP moves. (Frank)
  • Addressed a couple issues where players wouldn't be able to finish the squires test or knights test questslines. (Hookstar)
  • Fixed an issue with the chest in Temenos West not opening. (Frank)
  • Fixed Ghebi Damomohe using the wrong time check for ENM cooldowns (Tiberon)

Monsters

  • Hpemde monsters will stay asleep or bound even after changing states (open or closed mouth) or if sleep or bind land while changing states. (Tracent)
  • Corrected King Behemoth’s elemental evasion. (Frank)
  • The scorpion TP move Wild Rage now correctly removes two shadows instead of wiping all shadows. (Tracent)
  • Certain attacks (such as nether blast) will no longer damage jailer of temperance. (Tracent)
  • Dynamis-Valkurm’s boss Cirrate Christelle now has the correct model and spawns correct adds. (Tracent)
  • All monsters in Dynamis now link. (Tracent)
  • Ying, Yang, Vanguard Dragon, and kindred NMs in Dynamis-Xarcabard and Pukis in Dynamis-Beaucedine are now immune to sleep. (Tracent)
  • Marquis Orias is now immune to silence. (Tracent)
  • Dreamlands Dynamis zones now have correct capacity of 36 players (rather than 32). (Tracent)
  • Two extra incorrect statues were removed from Dynamis-Xarcabard. (Tracent)
  • Orc’s Arm Block and Quadav’s Shell Guard now provide the correct defense boost and have the correct duration when used within Dynamis. (Tracent)
  • Dynamis Lord will now always have a chance to drop items or gear (even if killed while clones are alive). (Tracent)
  • Pod ejection from Proto-Omega now targets Proto-Omega and cannot be outranged. (Wintersolstice)
  • The Aerm TP move Wing Thrust has had its ftp set to proper value. (Wintersolstice, Jimmayus)
  • Added claim shield to Ga'Bhu Unvanquished, Megalobugard, Bonnacon, and Odqan. (Tracent)
  • Corrected magic attack calculations for monster above level 70. This will result in an increase in monster magic accuracy for level 71 and above. (Frank, Jimmayus)

Magic

  • Sleep build resistance has been added to several NMs (Frank)
  • Enfeebling spells will now properly calculate the duration with regards to its resist state (Frank)
  • Fixes the type of message shown when an enfeebling duration hits 0 due to build resistance. (Frank)
  • Fixes an issue where Drain, Aspir, Cures on undead, summoner BPs and some magic spells were dealing 0 damage after hiting a resist state of 0.5 or below. (Frank)
  • Fixed the resist check states for Drain and Aspir (Frank)
  • Drain and Aspir will now return the value of either the HP or MP drained even if your HP or MP are filled (Frank)
  • Various amount of NMs have had enfeeble resistance building added on to them. (Frank)
  • Nether Blast from Diabolos summon will no longer be resisted unless the mob has reduced Breath Damage Taken (Frank)
  • Status effects on ranged weapons have been adjusted to properly account for skill level. Before this was returning a value too low causing most status effects to be resisted (Frank)

System

  • Corrected an issue that blocked characters with high character IDs from logging in. (Wintersolstice)
  • Player pets will no longer reset when zoning into town (Wintersolstice)
  • Dynamis monster area of effect (AOE) spells and abilities now correct hit all players in range (rather than just players with enmity). (Tracent)
  • Certain npcs will now always correctly disappear when they should (such as ??? for spawning certain monsters). (Tracent, Wintersolstice)
  • Pirate's Chart Fight now correctly spawns NMs. (Tracent)
  • Player IDs above 65535 will now be able to be a party leader and get proper results in "Member List" requests from the menu (Wintersolstice)
